U.Porto Innovation supports University of Porto’s innovation value chain by fostering the transfer of knowledge and reinforcing the bond between the University and businesses.
The U.Porto Innovation protects and commercialises University research results, promotes entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial mind-set within the community and dialogues with companies and spin-offs aiming for research and innovation partnerships. The team develops numerous initiatives to foster entrepreneurship, such as business ideas contests, ignition programmes, acceleration programmes, conferences, workshops and other events to gather and capacitate entrepreneurial community.
U.Porto Innovation works hand in hand with UPTEC – University of Porto Science and Technology Park in the promotion and support of entrepreneurship at University of Porto.
